Last week i took the trip to the lovely city of vienna, swear this is like my second home in europe. So easy to get around with the public transportation, im starting to understand more & more of the german language & when the city is lovely it has lovely people in it!

I was really looking foward to meeting up with old friends & meeting new, playing catch up is always great with the people in this city.

anyway, the first day was all about planning for the first day of the mv reco (the main reason i was in vienna) Jona Mae & Rj picked me up & we headed to mcdonalds for breakfast & awhole lot of talking & planning. i really wish that we could have a breakfast menu at the mcdonalds here..cmon! its way better at 11am than all the burgers =P

later on i met up with Anness, a real close friend i can call my sister =) Great catching up, sharing stories & sharing laughs..she was super stoked about the jordans i got her..well she should be..cause they hot!

rest of the evening went to dinner with some of the other mvs & the ftw´s for more planning for the mv reco..

for the start of the mv reco waws on friday..it was great..getting to know eachother more, having great lagush..playing 1-2-3-pass with loser gets the facepaint on. haha greatness! we might be old but young at heart..!

FIRST...! ill start by apologizing for my hiatus, the reason for this has been my lack of a own charger for my macbook. ive been force to limit with time, due to the short batter life..but now im finally back..=D

lately ive been listening to Aloe Blacc´s latest album - Good Things. If u havent heard it, you´re probably missing out. This album will most definitely warm up those cold autumn days. In these videos he performs some of his songs out in the streets of Paris. I love how they captured the vintage feel of it..& seeing how he performed "You Make Me Smile" in the Metro station reminded me of my paris trip back in march. enough talking, ill let the good music speak for itself..!

First, ive been sleeping on the blog lately..just havent really had the urge to blog, so i apologize for that.

Well a month ago my dad had his big 60th bday. It was such a great way to celebrate this big day. the whole fambam plus Kuya steven hit up Alex sushi. & yes this must be the best sushi ive ever had..! it was just awesome. I dont normally get all full when i eat sushi, but it was so filling & good..IF u ever come by oslo, make sure to save up money to go to the best sushi spot in oslo!

Sunday was lovely. we had our YFL Covenant Recollection. Started out early, and finished around 8pm. Its really been awhile since ive last heard these sessions, & i must say it was really refreshing to be reminded on why im in this community. It surely is a wonderful one. I was again reminded by the man upstairs that everyday is a blessing, its a strive, its a struggle..& through giving up something, sacrificing something dear to you you will even gain more than what you have before.

Wednesday was just an alright day...Ive realized how i really need to get my workout going..or at least doing some 20min runs to start with, but then again i have a friend called laziness that always kicks in =P...

I ended up slacking at the couch & watching like two or three episodes of the 2nd season of Jersey Shore, before heading for work..yeah im a sucker for reality shows =P

Work was okay today..seems as if everyone is ready to get their winter jackets for the season already. so its quite slow at the store these days, oh well were getting rest of our fall/winter collection by the end of the month..

On the way home i met Yasmin at the bus station. it was cool seeing her again, and walking home with her..it kinda reminded me from back in the day when we would walk home from school. ah well great having you just down the street Yas =)

Ive never been a big fan of mondays, why? Simple, its the start of the week, everything is so slow on a monday. You can tell that the vibe isnt really like "lets star the week with a bang..!" At least for my part it never is.

Anyway..my monday this week was more or less okay. I had Elverum withdrawls, meaning i was still in Elverum mode =P I got to work, a somewhat slow monday..but yeah it was cool though, the only downer was this guy who stepped on my kicks..dah well. no hate though.

Tuesday; I got up quite late..didnt do much really..i watched Joseph; King Of Dreams. This movie really reminded me of the summer i had with congress season. Since this movie was one of the skits we did for the KFL european congress. around 5pm i got myself next door to Darwins. They were having their music min practice for the Covenant Recollection were doing on sunday. You guys are great..keep going..!

So during my stay in vienna, one of my friends Anne managed to foget to log off on facebook on my mac. You all know what that lead to..yes i ended up messing with her facebook. Ive been too slow on this post. This post should have come at least a week ago, i apologize for my not putting the time into it.

First & foremost i would like to say thank you for the people of Vienna, for always welcoming up their city to me. I must say that this city is like my second home town in Europe. the city itself is beautiful & of course filled with wonderful people. The community there really inspires me & reminds me of home. I can go on & on about this city & its people, but that would most probably take forever. I just want to say thank you,

It was a lovely short vacation after the congress season. I got to catch up with people i dont normally see, *cough* Lee (whos from the states) & it really made me appreciate how Gods love & friendship is what keeps the strong bonds of friendship keep going.

After all the preps, all the planning & all the rehearsals the central kids congress was finally here. It was such a fun weekend, tiring cause the kids have too much energy..but other than that..it was awesome. not everyday you get to serve the kids. The week after the Nordic Kids Congress, i left for Vienna, Austria for the Central Kids congress. Jona Mae & I arrived Wednesday before the weekend, & went straight to work. First a Servants leaders heart training, then a whole lot of preps for the congress itself.

It was a bit stress, tiring & exhausting, but at the end of it we all knew it was worth it. I am totally honored & humbled to have served with u all =)

The weekend after the youth congress, I headaed off to Stockholm to serve for the Nordic Kids Congress. It was truly awesome, though they are kids, they are totally old enough to know Christ. It really showed me how much work u have to do, to serve for kids. I was again a witness to young love for Christ & to alot of fellowship & the same share faith to Him. God is truly mighty..!

Let the congress season begin. Due to three congresses in three straight weekends it has been little time to update this page i call my blog.

anyway..This years YFL Congress was held in my hometown of Oslo, Norway. It was an amazing weekend. People from all over Europe came. some new & old faces. God was truly there that weekend. I really enjoyed this years youth congress, it gave me alot of answers & alot of realizations. made new bonds & friendships & strengthened the ones i had from before.

I was once again reminded how beautiful this community is that weekend...!

the day after the congress we had our Leadership Training... took me some time..but yeah..its all about making sacrifice for what u really want.

anyway. I worked my regular grind 15-20. Met up with this dude Arif after work. He had just gotten back from his trip with the poddi squad to Prague. Dude had some crazy stories to tell. I love how he tells his stories..oh so theatrical...we decided to hit up illegal burger. this "new" burger shack ive been wanting to hit up.

& to be honest, i wasnt disappointed at all. The bread was good, the burger was medium rare & juicy, & of course the oven baked potato wedges with aioli was not wrong at all..!

we just catched up & planned how B.A.W.S. will be taking over the nightlife of oslo..!

Its about 10 days til the YFL Congress, and of course its the last minute preps..from the creative competitions to the preps of everything that needs to be done for the congress. from the technical, to the transpo, to the the logistical & so on & so forth. Well it will be hosted here in Oslo. & im quite excited..though its lots to do..still have time to make this big event into a memorable one...!

I wont do much more of the typing..Just please pray for the congress, not just that it will be successful, but also that we´ll come out of it with some new sense of direction & guidance.

My third saturday working, with the same three other guys as the two other saturdays. Due to lack of people out in the city, it wasnt that much to do. But laughs & good talks made the day go rather fast, except for the last hour.

After work i headed over to Sole Service, just chilled out there with kuya before heading up to Vestli for Kuya Reinarts 30th. Big day i tell u. Kuya came earlier from barcelona than what he planned, just for the birthday. Dude & Kuya reinart go way back, like since babies back, & they have a great bromance.
I really just wanted to eat, so when we got there it was bbq, sushi, alot of philipino dishes. that meant going for second servings =P & the dessert was the bomb..! all you can eat..& you know we had to watch the Spain - Paraguay. Match was intense..a whole lot of screaming, but to my happiness Spain pulled thru..

We ended the night, with the old fashioned Fifa 2vs2 tournament..just like back in the days.

From the get go, ill warn oyu & say that most of my days will be filled with work & if ever the world cup..

Monday: we didnt finish counting the inventory sunday, so i got to work early. Like 9am early. straight to the counting. such a long day..wasnt done untill 6pm, After that i just headed off to my cousins new pad at Kampen. Its such a nice apartment, makes me wish i had my own place..sike! Mommys boy for ever & ever =P We had a family dinner with our relatives from Arendal..it was good to see them again..swear Uncle James is so up to date on the gadgets tip. Though i had such a the itis & almost falling a sleep it was good company for sure.

Tuesday: The regular grind from 11am to 8pm. Long days at work in so nice weather? not fun at all.. At least it was good music & good company to keep me in a good mood. All i could really think of was the Spain - Portugal game. After work i headed off to meet up with ARif, Albert & Even. We wanted to go to Kontraskjæret where the big screen is, too bad it was a line getting in..After smoe minutes of looking around we ended up at one pub..small screen but it was enough for the first half, for the second half i joined Arif at his & karis place. Great seeing u again Kari, always in a good mood =)..Oh spain won..! pancho villa!!

Sorry i havent been posting anything from the past days, ive been lazy..i admit that.

anyway here comes a quick recap from the week.

Tuesday: Hung out with one of my closest friends, Synne. Ive known her since i was like 8 or 9? She moved to Australia last January, so it was great to have her back in Oslo. We hung out the whole day, went from one spot to the other. Sharing updates, laughs & awesome conversations. Its never a boring moment with her..=)

The rest of the week..well i dont bother writing all that much about it. It went to work, work oh and did i mention work? But i did manage to hangout with Silver surfer & arif. great catching up boys..! But i must admit, its quite alot of love at work though. & it makes the hours pass by fast & the work day not boring at all. Finished off the week with doing the inventory at work...yey for that & yey for ricebowl =)

What a great start to the week..! I normally dont like mondays, but this monday was just lovely. First I got a msg telling me that my sunglasses were dropped off at the postal office, so i went to pick them up. After that i went to meet up with Even & Tobie, we hit up Secret Society for their summer sale. I was quite happy to find a CDG Play tee, didnt cost me much neither. Later on we went to the Sofienbergs parken. Where we had a small bbq & kickback,i t was just great to enjoy the sun, great talks & laughs & of course great food..! In my opinion any food that is put on the grill just becomes even tastier..=P

After hanging out with the guys i headed off to the other side off Oslo, to another park to hangout with awhole bunch of people. its great how the good weather brings people together, and how the days are so long since the its light out til midnight. Ill come back to this part of my day in the next post.

I havent really gone proper shopping in awhile, but lately i have been pickin up some stuff. Little by little the pickups come. & recently the urge of getting something has just been implusive. First I cut up some of my old corduroy pants to shorts & Today i finally recieved the my Super Retrofuture W´s Havana glitters at the post office. I love em, You really get the summer feel of em. That really put me in a good mood, later on i hit up Secret Society with Tobie & Even. They had sale on most of their stuff there, so I ended up pickin up a Commes Des Garcons Play Chest T-Shirt.

Saturday? that meant the normal work day from 10-18. I must admit to pressing the snooze button for at least two times, before getting myself outta bed & get ready for work. Leaving the house i really just wanted coffee to get my day started. The day doesnt really start for me untill i have a coffee in my hand. With that said, i just sat on the subway listening to the fine tunes of A Tribe Called Quest. Old school, feel good hip-hop ftw..!

Work passed by smooth, highlight of the day must be hearing this grown man listening to Aqua - Barbie Girl thru his headphones, laughs for daaays..! Fun working today, quite alot of inside jokes & discussion between the co-workers, but hey i have nothing but love for em.

After work, i headed to the SFL´s Sushi for a cause. it was their fundraising for their SFL Congress & their own activities. I was quite pleased with the sushi, though i really did want more it was filling enough. It was great seeing Sha & Ate Michelle there, Ate Michelle brought her little tumble of joy; Lucas with. This little boy is just growing & getting bigger & bigger for each time i see him.

Anyway, a chillout saturday..i think im expecting more of these in the coming weeks.

Note to Mother Earth, please bless Oslo with lots of sun this summer? =)

As i woke up today, I must admit I was quite stressed. Why? Cause i totally forgot to set my alarm, so i would have enough with time with getting ready for this big day. Whos big day? My Ates big day, she was finally graduating after 4 years of hard work of studying & hand-ins & long nights. Congratulations Ate, im really proud of you..!

Though the ceremony was a bit long & a bit boring, and i did almost fall asleep, it was great just being there seeing how happy & relieved she was to be finished with school. The venue was the city hall, & it was packed. Over 300 newly educated nurses & their family & friends filled the hall. When walking in, you could just feel the good vibes.

After the ceremony, we headed to the Golden Mountain Restaurant. It was a first for all of us to eat there, but wow was the food mad good..! The itis for days..! their sweet & sour was truly on point, and i will come back to this restaurant. There are no pix of the food, due to the hunger & good food..

Today was such a great day, though the day started off slow it truly did end great. Met up with Arif around 4pm, we were out and about oslo city poppin tags. Or at least he was. It was great to roam around the city again, been too long since ive done that.Later on we met up with the other fellow bawses at Mikes pad. He got all of the guys to come over for the photoshoot hes doing for this website. stay tuned for the pix on his blog. It was just awesome hanging out with the guys, ongoing freestyle sessions, dancing & a whole lot of laughs. Thanks Mike for allowing me to take part of the shoot. u styled us up for sure! Great day, and u can truly feel the summer is on its way..!

just like Ice Cube said "Today was a good day", now thats how i felt about yesterday. It was truly good, chill & lovely. Started the day just slackin at home. made myself a big lunch, which btw knocked me out for like an hour. Swear i felt like i was gaining weight.Didnt really make it better when Mike hit me up telling me we were finally going to eat that new pizza at Peppes, with them boys: Young H. Hai, Lars-kun, JP, Ser, Herzon & of course mike. BnB = Beef & bernaise sauce and of course french fries..all i can say is that i have a new favorite pizza..it really did live up to the hype..! later on Herzons partner in crime hooked us up with this real good ice tea from her work. thanks a million..!

Ended the evening at Mikes rooftop, sucking it up..! if you know..you know..! Enjoying alot of laughs & great talks. The day was lovely i tell u..Thanks again for the day guys..!

Friday..i finally got to sleep in a bit..started the day with just cleanin up the room a bit, but yeah still quite a mess though..i was in such a good mood since the sun was shining, the temperature was good & i finally brought the shorts out today..!
anyway, figured i would get my hair cut & yes my hairdresser hooked me up. quite happy with the hair.

afterwards i met up with said & even, just ate & played xbox 360 before i mr. Ser and them picked me up for a kickback at his place. it was my first time being there..dude has a basketball hoop in his front yard. good music, good people & some funny talks towards the end of the night..even ended up having kebab as a night snack..p.s. Thank you yung h. for the ride home, i appreciate that b..

Thursday: was a day off, ended up doing some math before i headed out for mass. Which might have been one of the longer ones ive attended. but hey, its great just having some Jesus time with the family. After i headed to meet mike, he was talking about getting a steak for dinner that day, made me really crave for steak the whole day.

We ended up at the Nighthawk Diner aka the newest American themed diner. Richard joined us as well. & of course i had to go all out, Tbone steak for main course & for dessert? american pancakes soaked in maple syrup with ice cream..it was just so filling..made me all go straight to the itis mode though. but hey once in awhile its just great to spoil yourself with a big dinner i guess? well thats my theory at least. great company, great food & some good laughs.

Friday: Worked from 10-16,it was just so stressy from the hour we opened the shop. people everywhere. after work i went straight to the YFL chapter assembly. it was great seeing everyone again. it was a good turn out, & im happy you all came. Such a blessed friday..=)

Im not really a fan of mondays, why? its the start of the week, & i kinda like sleeping in, so getting up in the morning is not really all that fun.

I totally forgot to set my alarm, before goin to sleep. woke up at around 8:30 and believe me, i was mad stressed, thought i was late for work..to my luck i had another hour to sleep. Got to work, did my rarely 11-20 shift. not that tiring, just not alot to do..

Yesterday was a real good day.Though the weather was mad weird, I still had a great day..met up with Sha & Yasmin aka DonSha for our tapas early dinner date. The three of us meet up once in awhile to just catch up & update on whats new & what we´ve been doing lately. i go way back with these two, and i really do enjoy their company. From their silly comments to all the laughs.

We kinda planned to eat tapas like a month ago, but since Sha left for Thailand we had to wait til she came back. and yes it was truly worth the wait. The food was great so we were thrown into instant the itis mode, but we still had room for dessert..T.G.I.F. Ftw..!

Im a huge fan of music, & im a John Mayer fan..yes i am (no homo)..His latest album is such a joy listening to. Anyway..im a fan of 13th witness´ work. His pictures & videoes are just awesome..huge inspiration when it comes to photography.

The date is Feb 11th. 2010..it might just be an ordinary day for everyone else..but for my part its my Brothers birthday. Today hes turning the big 30. its not everyday i get to honor my brother for who he is. but since this is his big day he really does deserve this post.

Its often easier to write & type to say than to say it out loud huh? well anyway..happy happy birthday Kuya! your now 30, but yet still the biggest kid around..but thats not a bad thing at all..I honor you for your patience, your compassion & your love for people around you..and how much you really care.

thank you for being that big brother i truly look up to, a man i can always come to for help & advice, who also inspires me for the better. a who has left your mark on me, thru your service, to alot of talks and laughs. i dont always say it but i appreciate you kuya, as a man, as a brother and a friend. i thank you for being there, taking care of me & molding me to the person i am today.

Today was most def. one of those really really good days. Good food, good people & most definitely good music.

Started the day with picking up my jacket at work..FINALLY, this Fjällräven jacket is just oh so comfortable & warm..which i really need now days..seems as if its just getting colder and colder...i was joined by my good friend Joanna...i was trying to find a shirt for saturday, which most likely be one of those epic nights of the year!..

Had lunch at Ricebowl, swear its been awhile since I had a meal there..and its still as bomb as i can remember..! later on we just roamed around town..ended up at that United Bakeries enjoying that coffee =)

Met up with the boys afterwards, it was mad good to hangout with them again...too many laughs & alot of randomness.. met up with Arif & Simon at first..we were getting some gear for Simon for saturday.. yung carnal suit up ftw!

Even, Arif & myself was feenin for some grub, ended up at Mr. Ronalds..we got hooked up with awhole lot of free food & free icecream ftw!! thank you franky for the hook up..!

the rest of the night we just ended up at Mikes as always...playing sequence..this game is so addicting i tell u! we should start a tournament here in oslo!
